Bill Elliott, also known as "Awesome Bill from Dawsonville" or
"Million Dollar Bill". Bill Elliott has 40 victories to his credit,
was the first man to ever win the Winston Million, was voted Most Popular Drive
for a record 14 times, and he holds NASCAR's all time speed record by recording
a lap in excess of 212 MPH at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama.
