Phorecia is nestled in the center of the Forgotten Peaks. It is said to once have been a center of Magics, but has been uninhabited for many years. Warring dwarven clans inhabit the mountains to the east and west of the city, so travel to this place is very difficult indeed.
Vagabonds, gypsies, and thieves have all made Phorecia their temporary home in the past. They, like others, have searched out the city in hopes of unlocking its magical secrets and gaining its power for themselves.

No one knows why Phorecia fell into ruin. Some say that there was a great Mage War, and the city was destroyed. Some say that Phorecia sat upon a line of Magic and was transported to another time and place. Some believe that the city was attacked from outside when others learned of its power. Others believe the society merely died out or moved on.

Answers may lie in Phorecia, or in the ancient tomes scattered throughout the continent that were said to have come from that magical place.
