PART 4 OF THE TMNT/SK CROSSOVER

About two hours from when they left, the four turtles returned once again to their lair where Splinter and Felicia were waiting for them. Mike was the first to speak, “Major bummer, guys.”

Sorry, Master, but Shredder out maneuvered us again. Once we reached his location he was heading out,” Leo added and put his swords against the wall beside the entrance.

“Do not lose faith, my son. I am sure that we will see Shredder again. Do you know of any reason why he might be there?”

“Not a clue, sensei. But he was a carrying a small electrical device with him but I couldn’t really see what it was,” Donatello answered as he removed his bo staff from his belt and walked towards the exercise room to put it up.

“Plus he didn’t have his stupid mutants with him either,” Raphael stated as he stood there in front of Splinter, leaning back some against the wall.

“Hey, let’s watch the news. Maybe April has something on about Shredder,” Leo suggested as he walked towards the couch with Raphael following him.

“I’ll go make us a pizza. We can never watch the news on an empty stomach,” Michelangelo added as he ran into the kitchen.

“You’re stomach is always hungry, Michelangelo,” Raph commented as he sat down beside his brother.

Leo looked up at Felicia who had a worried look on her face. “You want to sit down with us, Felicia? Move over, Raphael!”

“Hey stop pushing, I am moving. I am a turtle, remember?” Raph snapped back

“Um, that’s okay. I am going to go check on Donatello for a moment,” Felicia answered as she turned and walked towards the direction that he went in.

“I think I will go meditate about this mysterious event,” Splinter said as he walked towards his room.

“Yeah you do that,” Raph commented.

Felicia spotted Donatello at his workshop typing on his computer. “What are you doing?” she asked curiously as she approached him.

“Well I am trying to see what was kept at that lab that Shredder would be interested in and then try to think of what exactly he is making,” Don said, not even looking back at her, his heart was racing with even her being in the room!

“Geez. That seems to be very tough, you must be very smart to figure that out.” She replied as she looked around at the room.

Donatello couldn’t help but to blush some, “Well some of us are smarter than others.”

Felicia grinned, noticing Donatello turning red and then spotted some boxes filled with the stuff at the back wall near the closet. Walking over to them, she bent down and looked inside seeing clips of pictures and small pieces of items. “What are these?”

“Oh I was trying to clean out my closet earlier and haven’t had a chance to sort through that mess. You’re welcome to look through that,” Don replied, not even remembering what was in the boxes.

Felicia grabbed the top box and carried it over beside Don’s computer table and sat down on the floor. Opening the box lids, she sifted through the items. “You have a lot of pictures.” Felicia came across a picture of the punk frogs. “Who are these guys?”

“Those are our friends that we made earlier, not that bad of guys either,” Don smiled as he looked down at the picture and then back to his computer monitor.

“Hehe, who’s the one in the pink shirt with yellow triangles? He’s kind of cute,” Licia grinned.

“Oh that’s Genghis. He mostly hangs out with us,” he replied, slipping down in his chair, kind of sad by what she just said.

“Well, I think turtles are cuter anyways,” Felicia said with a slight smirk that Don couldn’t see as she put the picture back into the box. Hearing that, Donatello sat straight back in the chair, smiling big and fixed his bandana. Felicia put the pictures in a pile to the side of the box and spotted at the bottom was a costume; the mask of it was dark black.  “What is this?”

“What?” Don asked, snapping back to reality and glanced down seeing his Dark Turtle uniform. “Oh, t-that’s nothing. Hey why don’t you help Michelangelo with the pizzas? I am sure he would love to have your help.”

“Okay, Donnie…,” Felicia said, puzzled on his sudden behavior. She picked up the box to put it back but Don stopped her.

“No, just leave it there. I’ll look through it since I can’t find anything about the lab.”

Not saying a word, Felicia got up and walked towards the kitchen to help out Michelangelo. Once she left, Donatello looked at the direction to where she went and then looked back down at the box that was before him.  He reached down and carefully took the uniform out of the box, feeling its material. He really couldn’t remember much about the time when he was Dark Turtle except the fact that he seemed to be stronger and actually came close to finally taking care of Shredder. He shook his head and put the costume back down into the box quickly. “Stupid super hero costume.” To ease his mind, Donatello decided to go back to working on Metalhead. Removing the control panel metal sheet back from the robot’s back, he inspected the series of wires that ran throughout the entire body’s structure. “Sorry, Metalhead, old friend. But I have to remove your circuit board so I can think of how to upgrade you.” Reaching for some pliers, he pulled some wires up from the board and started to cut them back to free the circuit board. He didn’t realize that one of the wires had deteriorated and was exposed. When he reached in to grab that wire to cut it, his finger touched the exposed area and a huge electrical current hit his body causing him to be shocked. “Woaaaaah!!” he cried out as he fell back from Metalhead onto the floor, unconscious.

Felicia heard Donatello cry out and looked at Mike worriedly. “What was that?”

“That’s just Donatello messing around with one of his inventions again,” Raph answered from the living room, where he and Leo were sitting on the couch, watching television.

“Don’s inventions always seem to go nutzoid,” Mike added as he retrieved the pizza from the oven.

“So is he okay?,” Felicia asked

“Yeah he’s fine,” Raph quickly answered

Leonardo looked back at Raphael with a concerned look on his face. “Maybe we should go check on him, Raphael.”

“He’s a big turtle, he can take care of himself.”

Donatello groaned as he sat up from the floor, rubbing his head. “Uh, what happened?” He looked around and noticed that he was in his workshop. “I don’t have time to stay around here, I need to find Shredder.” After he arose from the floor, he walked over to the box that was near his computer to retrieve his Dark Turtle uniform. “Prepare for the wrath of the Dark Turtle, Shredder! Vengeance will be mine!”

“Hey, dudette. Go to tell our bud that the pizza is ready,” Mike said to Felicia as he started to slice the pizza.

“Okay, Mikey,” she replied as she walked out of the kitchen passed the living room towards Don’s workshop, overhearing Raphael say,

“Tell him to hurry up or we’ll eat his slices for him.”

Walking into the workshop, she didn’t see Donatello around at all. “Donatello, where are you at? The pizza is ready.”

“I don’t have time for pizza. Shredder has to pay for his injustice!,” Don replied as he walked into the workshop, wearing his Dark Turtle uniform.

Felicia gasped seeing it on him. “What are you talking about?”

“I must stop Shredder once and for all!,” Dark Turtle answered firmly.

“Wait! Let me go with you at least!”

“No! This is between him and me! I will take him down!”

Becoming frustrated on this event, Felicia walked in front of Dark Turtle looking straight up at him. “What’s gotten into you, Donatello?”

“I don’t have time to talk to you!” Dark Turtle answered as he pushed Felicia aside and started to walk towards the entrance of the lair.

Felicia grabbed his arm. “You are staying here!”

Dark Turtle looked at her with no expression and then used his arm to knock her into the wall. “If you are not with me then you are against me!” With that he shot a grappling rope around her, tieing her up. Then he walked towards entrance of the lair once more.

     “Guys, help!,” Felicia screamed

The other three turtles ran into the living seeing Felicia tied up on the floor and then seeing Donatello dressed as Dark Turtle again at the entrance tunnel of the lair. “What are you doing?!” Leo demanded, frightened that his brother once again had adopted the Dark Turtle persona.

“Oh, no. Not again!,” Raphael added, hitting his forehead with his hand.

“The dude’s flipped his shell!,” Mike exclaimed.

“I don’t have time to play around with you! I am going to stop Shredder this time!,” Dark Turtle said determinedly. “This turtle flash bulb missile should take care of you,” he added as he shot the missile up at the ceiling, which made a tiny explosion causing a terrible blinding light to appear.

The turtles and Felicia covered their eyes trying to shield them from the light. “Can’t see!” Leo cried out. A few minutes later the missile’s affects wore off and Dark Turtle was no where to be found.

Michelangelo ran over to untie Felicia. “What has happened to him?” she demanded

“I think we should tell you,” Leonardo sighed, troubled that they would have to fight their brother once again to stop Shredder. But the problem with the situation was not only would they have to protect their enemy but also they would have to fight their own brother to stop him.

“So are you telling me that he is this way by some electrical shock?” Felicia asked, still confused about what was happening around her.

“I am afraid so. For some reason the shock messes up his brain to make him believe that he has to get rid of Shredder by himself,” Leonardo replied. “He’s blinded by what is going on around him that he really has no clue on what he is actually doing. He could get hurt and we have to go out there and find him!”

“Right!” Raphael shouted as he turned and ran towards the entrance of the lair with his brothers and Felicia running behind him but when Leonardo saw her with them, he stopped.

“Just what do you think you are doing?” he asked

“I’m coming with you,” Felicia said as she tied her mask on.

     “You can’t come with us.”

“Why not?” she demanded as she placed her hands on her hips. “Trust me, I have dealt with characters deadlier than Shredder before probably.”

“You need to stay behind just in case we need you later on. Besides as crazed as Donatello is, he might attack you. Now just stay here okay? We’ll let you have one of the turtle-coms,” he said as he handed it to her. With that, Leonardo took off once again out of the sewer with his brothers following him.

“Cowabunggggaaa!!” Michelangelo exclaimed as he followed his two brothers.

Felicia now known as Ricochet since she put on her black mask watched the turtles leave and then shook her head. “No way, I am not staying behind this time.”

Ricochet pressed against the wall of the alley and looked out at the busy street, luckily for her it was nighttime so no one would spot her.  “There has to be some way I can help them out in getting Donatello to turn back to normal. But how am I going to do it?” Just then she spotted a police car pull a speeder over, which made her grin. “Perfect! Now if these enforcers in this dimension have the same kind of weapons that my enforcers have then this plan will work. Now to just wait for the perfect moment.” The policeman got out of his car and approached the speeder’s car to talk with him. Ricochet quickly looked around, noticing that no one was walking towards her and decided that this had to be the opportunity. Running over to the passenger side car door of the police car, she extended one of her claws and used it to unlock the door. Opening it slowly to make sure there would be no noise, she looked inside and opened the glove compartment. “There has to be something that I am looking for.”

The policeman took the license of the driver and was walking back to his car to write the man a ticket when he spotted someone leaning in on the passenger side of his car. “Hey!”

“Uh-oh!” Ricochet mumbled as she saw the policeman running over towards her. She glanced back at the glove compartment and spotted a small tazor. “Found what I was looking for!” Placing it in her pocket, Rico ran back to the refuge of her alley and jumped up to the fire escape stairs of one of the building nearby and climbed up to the top before the policeman got to the bottom of the stairs.

“What the heck was that thing? Another mutant!” he mumbled as he ran back to his car to inspect it.

“Good thing I’m a kat,” Ricochet mumbled to herself as she got on the roof. “Now I have to find Dark Turtle.”

“Krang, are you sure this will even work?” Shredder asked as he stood in his warehouse, looking at the small electrical device that Krang had given him earlier.

“Of course I am sure. Have I ever been wrong before?” asked Krang from the other end of the comlink.

“Do you really want me to say it?”

“Shut up! Now if you don’t bumble this plan up then it will work. You have to get that device onto one of the turtles. It will send a circuit to their brain allowing you to control them and once we get one of the turtles to turn on the others then nothing will stop us!”

“There’s only one problem to this, Krang.”

     “What’s that?”

“How in the heck am I suppose to just nab one of the turtles when all I have is Rocksteady and Bebop out patrolling the area.”

     “That’s up to you.”

“Arrrggggh!!” Shredder cried as he turned off the comlink. “That blasted brain! The first thing I am going to do after I destroy the turtles is to get him next! How am I going to get one of those wretched reptiles to be by himself?”

Suddenly his comlink beeped again for an incoming call, this time it was Rocksteady. “Oooh Ooh! Boss! Boss!”

     “What is it?”

     “We have some bad news!”

“I can tell that, where the heck are you?”

“Um, we are somewhere on a street with lamp posts!”

In the background, Shredder heard Bebop yelling, “Mama! I want to get down!”

“You idiot! All the streets in this city have lamp posts!” Shredder asked

“That same turtle has gone psycho again! He put me in the dumpster and put Bebop up on the fire escape staircase then said he was going after you!”

“And you told him where I was?!”

     “Um…no. Bebop told him.”

“No, I didn’t! You told him!” Bebop protested as he kicked in midair trying to get down He was tied to the last bar of the ladder to the staircase by Dark Turtle’s rope.

“Pack it in, pork nose!” Rocksteady yelled back.

     “Oh yeah?!”

“Shut up, both of you!” Shredder yelled at them. “I’ll deal with you later.” He turned off the comlink and put it down on the table. “Wait! This is perfect! That turtle was crazed to take me down if I can get him on my side then he would be unstoppable! I am going to get the drop on him this time! Hahaha!!”

About twenty minutes later, the door to the warehouse busted down and Dark Turtle stepped through, glancing around at his surroundings. The room was totally dark and no sign of Shredder at all. “Alright, Shredder, it’s you and me again. This time I will finish you!” He walked in and looked around, staying very quiet and hoping for any movement. But there was none, no sound at all. Dark Turtle narrowed his eyes down, knowing that Shredder was probably hiding from him. “Come out, you coward!”

“My pleasure!” Shredder announced as he flipped on the lights, blinding Dark Turtle for the moment he needed. He jumped behind him and hit him on the back of the head hard. Dark Turtle let out a small grunt as he fell to the ground, unconscious. “Sweet dreams, turtle boy.”

Ricochet had made it back to the streets safely and undetected. As she ran down one of the back streets, she spotted a mutant rhino and a mutant warthog in the alley. She noticed the mutant rhino trying to get out of the dumpster while the mutant warthog was dangling by a rope on the fire escape.  “Who the heck are you?”

“Get me down from here!” Bebop whined.

Rico couldn’t help but laugh a little but then curious on their appearance. “How did you get up here?”

“One of those psycho turtles did this to us!” the mutant warthog named Bebop answered. “Now please get me down!” he cried

“That has to be Donatello!” Ricochet said to herself and then looked over at the mutants again. “Okay, I’ll help you down on one condition.”

“What is that?” Rocksteady asked as he stepped out of the dumpster and tripped over the edge falling onto the ground.

“You have to tell me where that turtle went.”

“And why should we tell you? Are you a turtle lover?”

“No! I-I am trying to hunt him down.”

     “He went after Shredder.”

     “Where is he?”

“At the main warehouse in the old warehouse district.”

“Krud! That’s on the other side of town!” Ricochet growled in frustration as she looked around for something. She spotted a black Kawasaki sports cycle parked near one of the apartments across the street. “That has to work!” Without saying anything else to Rocksteady and Bebop, she ran over to where the bike was. Inspecting the bike, she knew it would be the best transportation to get there fast.

Once she got on and started it up, Rocksteady called out to her, “Hey, wait! What about helping us out? You promised!!”

“Didn’t your mom ever say that you shouldn’t trust a woman.” Ricochet answered as she revved the bike and sped off down the street towards the warehouse district.

“She’s got a point, Rocksteady,” Bebop commented.

“Aww, shut up and start to swing again,” Rocksteady replied as he grabbed onto Bebop’s boots trying to pull him free “We have to save the boss!”

Dark Turtle’s eyelids fluttered open when he came to. “Ugn…what happened? I feel soo strange.”

“Rise and shine, my dear turtle. It’s time to do my bidding,” Shredder said as he approached him with the controller in his hand. “Now I want you to go out and find your friends and dispose of them! Better yet, bring them here so I can have the pleasure myself.”

“Yes, master,” Dark Turtle replied. “Must stop the turtles!”

Suddenly Shredder heard a motorcycle approaching them. “Someone’s coming!” He ran over to the window to look out and saw what appeared to be some sort of cat mutant with a black outfit and black mask, riding a motorcycle. “What the heck? Who is she?”

“A friend of the turtles,” Dark Turtle replied.

“Oh really? This is perfect! Now I can use her as bait to make the turtles surrender to me! Wait till she gets inside and then we’ll nab her.”

Ricochet stopped the bike at the warehouse and looked around. The whole area seemed to be eerie with no sound at all except for boats blowing their horns off in the distance at the harbor. “This has to be it,” she said quietly to herself as she reached down into her pocket to retrieve her turtle com that Leonardo gave her. “Turtles, come in.”

The Turtle Van was crossing the Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan when the turtle com started to beep on the dashboard. “See who that is, Michelangelo.” Leonardo said, keeping his eyes on the road.

Michelangelo picked up the communicator and hit the receive button. “Turtles R Us.”

“Um, guys. I think I know where Dark Turtle is or where he may be soon,” Ricochet said on the other end.

“Where’s that?” Raphael asked, leaning over the front seat, wanting to get in on the conversation.

“Well I found Rocksteady and Bebop who were in the alley, they said that he attacked them there and then went after Shredder. I am at the place right now. He should have been here by now but I can hear no sign of a struggle or anything,” she whispered back, looking around to make sure no one would get the drop on her.

Leonardo took the com from Michelangelo. “Where are you at right now?”

“I am at the main warehouse building in the old warehouse district.”

“That’s about five blocks from here,” Michelangelo added.

“Right. We’ll be there in a minute. Just don’t go in that building!,” Leonardo said as he turned the communicator off.

Shredder looked out the window and saw Ricochet standing there with the turtle communicator in her hand. “Blast it! She contacted those miserable turtles! Dark Turtle! Lure her in here.”

Rico’s ears perked when she heard the sound of a voice calling for help inside the warehouse, that voice was Donatello’s! “Help! Someone help me!” he called out

She bit her lip as she felt herself tense up. He had to be in trouble but the other turtles told her not to go in. “I have to save him! It may be too late if I wait for the others.” Closing the turtle com, she kept it in her hand as she walked inside the warehouse. She looked around inside, even though there was no lights on, the moonlight in the windows gave her some light for her to see. Standing perfectly still, she listened very carefully for any noises but none, no sign of movement at all. It was like at as soon as she stepped into the warehouse, the voice stopped. “This is freaking me out,” she thought to herself.

“You know beautiful girls shouldn’t be out late at night,” a voice in front of her said. “Or should I say mutants.” The lights turned on and there in front of her stood Shredder.

“The name’s Ricochet to you, Shredder,” she snapped back, looking at him angrily, bawling her hands into fists.         “Temper, temper,” Shredder replied as he approached her. He took his hand and ran it over her face, the blades on his gauntlet so close to her fur. “I haven’t seen you before. Where did the turtles find you at?”

“Let’s quit the chit chat,” Ricochet snapped as she pulled back away from him. “Now where is Donatello?”

He couldn’t help but laugh. “Donatello? Oh so that’s who that Dark Turtle is. How ironic. Oh, Dark Turtle come in here.”

Ricochet looked behind her and saw Dark Turtle walking out of the shadows. “Donnie!” she cried out as she ran to him, glad that he was all right. But when she gave him a hug, things turn for the worse.

He pushed her hard onto the floor away from him. “Get off of me!”

She looked up at him in complete shock. “Donatello?!”

Shredder couldn’t help but hold his stomach from laughter. “Oh I am sorry, Ricochet. But Dark Turtle works for me now.”

“Noo!!” she growled as she sprang back up onto her feet and faced Shredder; her jaw clenched. “You damn-!”

But Shredder grabbed her face with his hand before she could finish her sentence. “What were you going to say to me? I believe you were going to say something personal, I think.” Ricochet said nothing but stared at him angrily, breathing harder from her immense anger. “Be glad that I haven’t killed you yet. Believe me, don’t push my luck, girl.”

“Too late,” she managed to reply as she swiftly kicked Shredder in the stomach, making him fall over some.

Dark Turtle wrapped his arm around her neck, holding her close to him as he choked her. She struggled from his grip, choking. “Say goodnight, miss kitty!” Shredder roared as he pulled back his hand to hit her but he heard the sound of the Turtle Van approaching. Rico couldn’t help but let a smile appear on her face, having some more hope now. “I think I’ll use you before I’ll kill you. Dark Turtle, give her to me and then hide.”

Leo turned off the ignition once he parked the van at the warehouse. He sighed and looked at his brothers, he knew they would be walking into a trap. "Can't Shredder find another place besides warehouses all the time?," Raph griped as he took out his sais from his belt.

A thick fog from the ocean covered the place outside. "This is like totally creeping me out, dudes! Why can't the Shredhead have our battles more in the day time?" Michelangelo asked as goose bumps covered his body.

"Anybody have a plan?," Leo asked.     His brothers said nothing, Raphael leaned his head against the side of the van.  “We know that Shredder is going to use Felicia as a bargaining chip but let's not make any moves until I give the word," Leo said as he got out of the van and shut the door, his brother got out as well.

"It's party time!," Michelangelo grinned as he followed his brothers to the entrance of the warehouse.

When they walked into the warehouse, they noticed that all of the lights were very dimmed and the place was too quiet for their tastes. “I don’t like this getup one bit, Leo.  This is not good,” Raph whispered to his brother as he looked around suspiciously, holding his sais in his hands.

Leo nodded and looked around as well, holding his katana blades in his hands. “Eyes and ears, turtles.”

“Right here, reptiles,” Shredder announced as he walked in front of them holding Ricochet in front of him, his arm around her neck, holding his blades close to her skin.  Now drop your weapons and surrender,” Shredder replied looking at them.

Raph gripped his sais tightly, knowing that they shouldn’t. He looked over at Leo. “Plan?”

Leo bit his lip, looking down at his swords. He knew that this move would be a stalemate.  If they dropped their weapons and surrendered, Shredder may still kill her and they would have more of a chance to defend themselves later on. “Don’t do it, guys!” Ricochet yelled out to them, gripping Shredder’s arm with her hand.

Suddenly the door flew open and Rocksteady and Bebop ran in. “Boss, we’re back!” Rocksteady said. Bebop who was breathing hard from the long run that he and Rocksteady made to get back to the warehouse, collapsed on the ground.

“Aww so glad to see you back in my moment of triumph. Now where was I? Oh yes! Surrender turtles or she will die!” Shredder he said, holding his blades closer to her neck, causing her slight pain from the sharpness of them.

“Don’t do it, Shredder!” Leonardo said seeing the look of pain on Ricochet’s face. He threw down his swords, “We surrender.” Raphael and Michelangelo followed suit.

“That’s right, turtles. I win and you lose. Bebop! Rocksteady! Chain them to the wall over there!”

Rocksteady and Bebop walked over to get their laser blasters from the table and then aimed them at the turtles. “Get going, yous guys,” Bebop said as he poked Raphael in the shell to make him start walking.

“Hey don’t get pushy, bacon breath!” Raph snapped as he started to walk towards the wall.

Once he and his brothers were chained to the wall, Leonardo glared over to Shredder who was still holding Ricochet hostage. “Alright, Shredder. We’re here! Now let her go!”

“I have a better idea,” Shredder grinned in his tin mask. “Bebop! Rocksteady! Walk over there and block the front door.”

“Um, oh fearless leader,” Raphael whispered. “I think we just made a huge mistake.”

“I can tell that, Raphael,” Leonardo snapped back, getting frustrated on the turn of events.

Shredder released Rico from his grasp and pushed her onto the floor hard. “Now, I am going to destroy you wretched reptiles one by one but I am going to destroy your friend first. Hahahaha!”

“NOOOOOO!!!!!” the turtles screamed, pulling at their restraints.

Shredder continued to laugh as he approached Ricochet as she stood up to face him, standing in a defensive position. “Ricochet, get out of there!,” Leo shouted to her.

“Where’s Donatello when you really need him to finish Shredhead?!” Michelangelo said to his brothers, also frustrated on this.

Michelangelo’s statement gave Shredder a better idea. If the turtles could see through his tin mask they would have seen a very evil smile. “Oh you want that Dark Turtle do you? Dark Turtle, please come here.”

Out from the shadows came Dark Turtle making his brothers’ eyes go wide with fright. “What the heck?!” Michelangelo exclaimed. “I thought that dude was on our side!”

“Someone please just pinch me! This has to be a bad nightmare, right?” Raphael added.

“Um, guys. This is for real. Somehow, Shredder has made Donatello become on his side,” Leonardo answered his brothers’ questions.

“Dark Turtle, I think it would be more fitting if I allowed you to have the honors of disposing them,” Shredder said as he stepped aside gracefully, slightly bowing to mock the turtles.

“My pleasure,” Dark Turtle said as he approached Ricochet. Rico couldn’t help but start to back up some, not knowing for sure on what to do yet.

“Donatello, don’t do it!!” Leonardo called out to him.

     “Wake up, dude!!” Michelangelo yelled.

Ricochet reached into her pocket and turned the tazer that she had stolen earlier on but knew that it would take a few minutes to become fully charged on the high power. She just prayed that she would have a few minutes to stall him so she could use it. Closing her eyes and breathing in deeply, she relaxed her mind and gathered her strength up and then opened her eyes once again and looked at him as he came closer. Without saying a word, she just looked right at him into his eyes.

Puzzled by this, Dark Turtle stopped and looked at her. “Why are you staring at me like that?!”

“Because I know you won’t hurt me,” Ricochet said back, looking at him strongly.

“Too bad you’re wrong!,” Dark Turtle growled back and approached her closer till he was basically standing in front of her. But Rico didn’t budge, she stood there, looking right at him.

“I know you don’t really want to hurt me, Donatello. You care too much about me.”

     “Oh yeah? You wanna bet?!”

“Yeah! Look into my eyes and tell me you want to hurt me then!”

“Fine, I will!” Dark Turtle shouted back as he looked right into her eyes, starting to feel real strange.

“You don’t want to hurt me, Donatello. Please wake up…,” Rico said softly looking back into his eyes.

Dark Turtle shook his head. “Huh? Wh-What? Felicia? What’s going on?” Ricochet couldn’t help but smile.

“What are you doing?! I said finish her off! I am your master!” Shredder shouted.

Dark Turtle held his head as his mind became clouded once more. “Must destroy the turtles and their friend!” he growled out as he jumped on top of her, knocking her to the ground. He wrapped his hands around her neck, starting to choke her.

“STOP IT, DONATELLO!!” Leonardo shouted out.

“DUDE, SNAP OUT OF IT!” Michelangelo shouted out as well. They could hear Ricochet choking from the tight grip around her neck.

Straining as she tried to squirm to get some release from his grip, she reached inside her pocket to grab her tazer; knowing that it should be fully charged. She pulled it out of her pocket and zapped him with it.

Dark Turtle cried out as he flew off of her onto the floor on his back, unconscious. “Yah!!” Leonardo cheered.

“Way to go, dudette!” Michelangelo said.

Ricochet sighed with some relief as she rubbed her sore neck, panting hard to catch her breath. Shredder growled out as he jumped at her, knocking the tazer out of her hand. “You miserable, feline! I will destroy you, myself!” He held her into the air by the collar of her outfit.

“Wait! Wait! She’s mine!” Dark Turtle growled as he got up, staggering a bit and then walked over to where Shredder stood. Confused on this strange behavior but yet blinded by his own foolishness, Shredder said nothing as he released Rico to Dark Turtle. He stepped back a little seeing Dark Turtle picking her up by her collar where Shredder stopped at. Ricochet’s eyes were wide with fright. She knew for sure that the tazer would have worked! Dark Turtle smiled up at her and winked, which made her look at him in a confused manner. “I am okay, Felicia.” Ricochet couldn’t help but smile herself as Dark Turtle put her down and then he turned around quickly, shooting out his mini grappling hooks. The ropes went around Shredder, tieing him up and making him collapse to the floor.

“Hey! That turtle double crossed us!” Bebop snorted.

“I am out of here!” wailed Rocksteady as he started to run for the door of the warehouse.

Shredder growled out as he cut the ropes with his blades and stood up. “You mutant moron! It’s just one turtle! Three against one! We can take him!

Ricochet ran quickly over to where the other turtles were chained against the wall. She extended her claw and started to unlock their chains. “Are you guys going to hang around here all day?”

“I’ll do the puns, thank you very much,” Raphael snapped back as he flashed her a grin and took his sais out. “Now time for old Shredhead!”

“Cowabunga!” Michelangelo yelled out as he took out his nunchuks and followed Raphael.

“Turtles fight with honor!” Leonardo yelled out, holding his two katana swords, running in front of his brothers.

“The other turtles got loose!” Rocksteady gulped as he put down his laser blaster.

“Mama!” Bebop yelled out as he ran out of the door with Rocksteady following him.

The three turtles ran and stood in front of their brother, Dark Turtle. “You were saying about three against one, Shredder?” Leo said as he stood there in a defensive position.

Shredder looked around and noticed his two mutants were gone. “Even a ninja master knows when he will be beaten. Another time turtles!” With that, he swiftly kicked Leonardo in the stomach making him fall back and knocking his other brothers down with him. Seeing the four turtles on their back from the surprise attack, Shredder made his escape along with his mutants.

Dark Turtle reached behind him and knocked the control mechanism off the back of his head onto the floor.  He stared down at it with a troubled look on his face but he quickly hid it when his brother, Leo, placed his hand on his shoulder. “Glad to have you back on our side, Donatello.”

“Yeah,” Don said softly as he looked down at his arms seeing the uniform on him.

Raphael couldn’t help but snicker. “It’s definitely you, Donatello. They should make a comic book about you.”

“Hey! I kind of like it. I think it looks very good on you, Donatello,” Felicia said, smiling at him. Donatello couldn’t help but smile himself but then troubled again by his actions from earlier, his smile quickly turned into a frown.

“Yeah! Only if you like someone wearing their underwear around town!” Raphael quickly answered to Felicia’s comment as he fell on the ground, bawling with laughter. Michelangelo couldn’t help but join his brother in on the joke.

Donatello frowned even more as he took the hood off his head from the costume and walked outside towards the Turtle Van. “Come on, let’s go home so I can get this ridiculous outfit off of me.”

“Let’s go, Raphael and Michelangelo,” Leo sighed as he followed Donatello. Ricochet remained quiet as she followed the four turtles.

An hour after they returned home, Felicia got off the couch from watching television and decided to go and check in on Donatello. She walked into his bedroom but didn’t see him there and then when she checked the workshop, she noticed that it was empty too! Troubled by this, she quickly ran over to Splinter’s room to see Master Splinter meditating on the floor.  “Splinter!” she cried out as she ran to him.

Quickly waking up from his mediation, Splinter looked over at Felicia. “What is it?”

     “I can’t find Donatello anywhere!”

“Donatello went out to the meadow that he goes to whenever he is troubled.”

     “Where is that at?”

“I’ll show you. Come. We’ll take the Turtle Van.”

Donatello sighed as he stood in front of the large altar that he made with sticks. On top of the crude altar was his Dark Turtle uniform and it was on fire. He sighed as he watched the flames burn through the fabric. Deep down inside, he knew that this would be the best way for prevention from him becoming Dark Turtle again.  He couldn’t help but let small tears roll down his face as he watched the small bonfire. This incident helped him realize something and it troubled him deeply. He looked up as he saw the Turtle Van pull him about thirty feet away. “Oh no,” he grumbled, thinking that it was his brothers. But to his amazement, out stepped Felicia. His eyes went wide as he watched her walking towards him; he looked back at the van and saw Master Splinter sitting in the driver’s seat, smiling at him.

“Hi…”Felicia said shyly as she walked up to him.

     “Hey,” Don said softly.

     “What are you doing?”

“I decided to burn the Dark Turtle outfit. So that way I can prevent hopefully from me becoming him again. By the way, thanks for saving me.”

“Hey, you would have done the same for me,” Felicia said nervously as she blushed some. Her heart was beating fast since she was so eager to tell him something. “I have something to tell you.”

     “Really?”

“Yeah. I-I decided that I am going to stay with you. I lived my life out before, I want to start from scratch and be with you. I-I love you, Donatello.”

“You can’t stay with me, Felicia.” Don sighed sadly.

“Why not?” Felicia asked; this was definitely not going as she hoped for. Tears started to form in her eyes.

“I mean you belong in your world, not here. If you stay with me, you will have to stay underground like we do because the humans won’t understand you. Your entire life will be under threat from scientists. I can’t put you in that situation. Like Master Splinter told me earlier, I shouldn’t have tried to pursue too much. You have a great life for you in your world and it would be better for you there. I know you will probably be happier there anyways.”

“A-are you sure?” Felicia asked; she couldn’t help but to start crying some from the sadness and pain that she was feeling deep inside of her heart.

Donatello couldn’t help but to just nod his head. “Tell Master Splinter that I’ll be home later on.”

Felicia nodded silently as she turned and walked back to the Turtle Van in tears.

Hours later, Donatello called out to the rest of the group from his workshop. “Okay, I have the portal up and ready!”

Felicia got up from the couch and wiped her eyes as she walked towards the workshop where she met Splinter and the rest of the turtles.

     “You ready, Felicia?” Donatello asked.

“Yeah,” Licia replied with her voice quivering some, trying not to break up again. She walked up to Master Splinter and gave him a hug.

“I will miss you, my child. Take care of yourself and never forget what we have taught you,” he replied as he smiled at her.

“I won’t, Master. I promise.” She smiled back at him then she walked over and gave Leonardo a hug. “Goodbye, Leonardo.”

“Take care and thanks for saving us earlier.”

Felicia smiled at him and walked over to Raphael. “Behave yourself, Raph”

“I will and you behave yourself. No cat fights, young lady,” he smiled as he hugged her.

“No cat fights, I promise,” she giggled and then walked over to Michelangelo.

“Ciao for now, dudette! Remember to looks us up if you ever want to do some mondo sewer surfin!” he exclaimed.

“Now, Michelangelo. You know cats aren’t too fond of water,” she smirked as she hugged him tightly.

“Hey way to go there, Michelangelo,” Raphael nudged him.

Felicia then walked over to Donatello and just stood there, not knowing what to say. “You take care of yourself, Donatello.”

“Yeah. Y-you too,” Don replied quickly.

“Well don’t just stand there, stupid. Aren’t you going to hug her?” Raph asked.

Don smiled as he hugged Felicia tightly, not really wanting to let her go. Felicia hugged just as tight, feeling the same. He couldn’t help but to shed some tears but unfortunately for him, he was facing his brothers so they saw.

“Donatello, are you actually crying?” Leonardo asked in astonishment.

Don quickly moved away from Felicia in embarrassment, his cheeks red. “I-I’m just a real softy. Okay, anyways. It’s ready for you, Felicia.”

Felicia nodded as she stepped in front of the portal, looking at it, her heart racing, she didn’t really want to leave them. She wanted to tell them that she didn’t want to go but she couldn’t find the words. “Turn it off,” she said softly.

“What?” Donatello asked, not too sure on what she said.

“Turn it off!!” she yelled out as she started to cry hard.

Scared by this, he quickly turned off the portal.

“What’s wrong, Felicia?” Splinter asked, very concerned on her sudden behavior.

Felicia turned around, tears were just pouring down her face, matting her fur. She ran towards Donatello and hugged him tightly, crying hard. “I don’t want to go! I don’t want to go!”

Don couldn’t help but to hold her softly as she cried hard on his shoulder. Splinter smiled over at Donatello. Don’s brothers looked at each other, confused on what was going on. “Shh, it’s okay,” he said gently trying to comfort her. “What do you mean, you don’t want to go?

Felicia looked at him with red eyes. “I want to stay with you. I love you, Donatello…”

All four turtles’ eyes went wide in astonishment. Don looked over at his master, still confused on what to do. “The choice is now yours, my son.” Splinter replied, knowing on what Donatello was thinking.

“I-I want you to stay too, Felicia. I loved you ever since I met you.” He replied gently, looking at Felicia, softly wiping her tears away with his finger.

     “Really?”

     “Yeah.”

“Oh, Donnie!” Felicia exclaimed as she leaned in and deeply kissed his lips catching everyone even him off guard, Don held her to him as he returned her kiss.

“Wha?!” his brothers exclaimed, totally amazed by this turn of events.

Felicia broke away and smiled. “I’ll go back and unpack my bags.” She scampered off happily.

Don’s brothers ran over to him who stood there in complete shock. “Way to go, bro!” Mike cheered.

Don just stood there in a silly looking mood. “Are you okay, Donatello?” Raph snickered.

“COWABUNGA!!” Don yelled out as he fell to the ground, unconscious.

“Felicia, if he wakes up thinking he is Dark Turtle again, you are going to be in deep trouble!” Raph called out to Felicia as he and his brothers couldn’t help but to fall on the ground, laughing hard from Donatello’s state.
