The Opinion Page

This is my top ten list.....but different in that these are ten things that I will say that MOST musicians will not. Many will disagree with me, but these are my opinions. Take em or leave em.

In My Opinion...

...Eric Clapton is terribly over-rated as a guitarist.
...The Rolling Stones only wrote one good song. I can't get no satisfaction.
...Lynyrd Skynyrd is not a rock band. Southern Rock is not rock music. It is all country music....on steroids.
...L.A. Woman and Light My Fire, by the Doors, are not good enough songs to be as long as they are.
...Robert Plant is way too whiny to be as sexy as he thinks he is.
...everything Metallica has ever done is great....except the cover of Tuesday's Gone by Skynyrd.
...all blues guitarists play the same solos and sing like Cartman from South Park.
...there should be more girl rock bands like Veruca Salt. Heavy Metal chicks rule!
...the only good thing I can find on the radio is my box of CDs..
...Fender Stratocasters suck.
