Matthew 26:59-60
59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him
to death;
60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two
false witnesses.
Here we see two witness, much like the two witness in revelation, but these two are from Satan.
What did these witness do? On the surface and worldly view they defeated Jesus by condemning
Him. On a spiritual level Jesus, through worldly defeat, was and is victorious!
Do you have false witnesses in your life? I hope you understand that when you allow them to defeat
you through the blood of Jesus you win. The Christian always spiritually wins through worldly defeat.
It takes the false witness to start the battle, and Jesus to finish and win it victoriously!
