Have You Ever Felt Rejected

Luke 10:5-11

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Have you ever felt your peace leave you? Have you ever felt rejected? Have you ever tried to fellowship with people that seem cold toward you ?

Everyone that comes to the Lord after being lost in this world has probably felt this at one time or another. What does Jesus tell us to do here?.....

To even wipe the dust of that city off. Jesus has promised us He will never reject us. He will in no wise cast us out. It doesn't matter where you have been, what you have done, when you come to Jesus with a true repentant heart it is then His job to clean you up. How could He do His job if He were busy casting you out?

You see, you can not clean up yourself.. That is Jesus' job. Just give it to Him in trust. He will do it for His mighty names sake...
As for those that won't receive you just like you are, don't fight it. Just give it to Jesus. Leave that place and seek true fellowship with the Lord. He is able...and His grace is sufficient.

Praise you Lord Jesus!
