I'm 22 years old, female of course i live in virginia, america but im originaly from Australia the land Down Under and yes i do have that so called Aussie accent .
I am married to a fantastic man, he is in the navy serving on the USS Nimitz he hates his job but doesnt everybody..... I also have two very beautiful children (i would say beautiful im there mother lol) there names are Tammie-Lee she is 6 years old, i have a link to her page on the left hand corner, and a baby boy named Christian Ethan and his going on 5 months.
I first visited America back in 1998 visiting my husband, but back then my boyfriend, we met over the internet and yes internet relationships are real and they can work..... i spent christmas with him and his family and boy what a crazy family he has..oh im just kidding they are warm and friendly people and im proud to call them my family now.
It's now the year 2000, and the fear of the phantum millenium bug has faded from peoples memory (well i should hope so sheesh) and everything is going great, there are the normal up's and down's to any relationship related to financial problems, child managment (thats a tough one ~lol~ ) isnt it funny how you get into arguments with your spouse over your child/ren.
Ok for all you fellow Aussie's who have yet to visit this land called America, here is a few tips from what i have learnt =
1. We are the one's with the accents not them.
2. We are the one's that drive on the wrong side of the road and have the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car.
3. Only in america does a dielivery pizza boy get to your house faster then an ambulence.
4. Only in america do they order a large fries, a BigMac and a diet coke.
5. And only in america do the americans expect an aussie to say G'day and Mate.
