My Friendship List

I looked at my email list
I checked it twice
Some friends had been naughty
All were exceptionally nice

I looked back at the good news,
Jokes, laughter all through the year
Saw there also the hopes for
Tomorrow, saddness and tears

Friends are the same
The whole world through
Their gift is in the sharing of
Prayers, happiness, hopes for you

So on this the biggest day of hope
We look forward to all year
Let me wish you the merriest of
Christmas from a heart sincere
