Lynn has been involved with
animals since 1979. She has worked in a variety if grooming situations
to include earning her own name as Lady Anna's. Lady Anna's offered the
special touch.
A warm fireplace for clients to sit by, rocking chairs, fresh coffee and cookies. Lynn became a published writer when she was 16 and continuted to write articles as a freelance writer. After retiring from grooming due to allergies from over exposure Lynn felt the need to give back to an industry that has given so much to her. That is when Groomer Friends was born. Beyond that Lynn has helped several groomers and veternarians open an effective grooming salon. In addition her involvements have included, training, humane society volunteer, dog shows, 4H, and the county fair. She was previously involved in boxer rescue. Lynn is also a mother of three, owns several animals of her own and runs the office for her husbands small corporation. She still grooms but now only specific breeds. During her spare time she paints, and searches the world for the best deals she can find |
Diane Betelak is a Certified Master groomer with NDGAA. She has been
grooming since 1982
when she opened her shop, Heads and Tails Professional Dog Grooming, in Liverpool, New York. Diane shows her standard poodles in conformation and obedience. Her dogs have CH's in the United States and in Canada as well as multiple obedience titles including a Dog World Award and HIT's. Diane started her grooming competition career by winning BIS,Div. B at her first competition, NEPGP, in 1989 with a standard poodle. She has since won multiple BIS's including Milan Groom 97, NEPGP 97 and VGA 99. She also has multiple Best All Around wins. Diane was the Lambert Kay World Champion Poodle Groomer and won Best Scissored Poodle at Intergroom in 1994. She has many gold,silver and bronze medals from Intergroom as well as placements at most other major shows. Diane has had multiple placements in the Creative Grooming class as well. She was the winner of the Creative Styling Class at Groom Expo98 in Hershey, PA. Diane has been a member of Groomteam USA 96, 97 and 98. She was nominated for the Cardinal Crystal Acheivement Award, American Groomer of the Year in 1996,1997 and 1998, which she won in 1997.

B.J. is a well known seminar
lecturer within the pet industry. She was one of the first seven to graduate from the original VMT college program. She earned her CKO in 1979. She started Professional Grooming 32 years ago and added the Boarding Kennel several years later. She is past president of ABKA and has served on most all the major committees. She is past President of the GA Groomer Association. She had written numerous articles for pet industry magazines and has had a weekly newspaper column for the past 6 years. A free lance writer she continues to write for local and regional magazines. Referred to as Witchi or Witchipoo she is considered an authority on Occupational Hazards and OSHA. She has won the highest honor in the boarding industry the Golden Scoop Award and was nominated for a Cardinal Crystal Award for service to the Industry in 1996. She remains active within her community serving on various county committees. She has been nominated as Citizen of the Year several times in past 10 years. She just completed certification in Windows 95 as a Windows Power User. She is currently working on certification as a WebMaster. |
