Currently, I am working at Freddie Mac as a programmer analyst. Like my title, I develop software and analyst problems in my work. I am not only analyzing how to solve software issues, but also analyzing the business requirement. Sometimes I also have to perform as a negotiant in my team in order to let busienss users understand the meaningless requirement. In addition, I also perform a mentor when we have new members join our team.
Besides work, I used to be a tutor. I was working at Marymount University's Learning Resource Center tutoring math, progarmming language (specialise C++ language), physic, chemistry, and logic. I also tutored other university's students for programming language. It was a good experience to me being a teacher! I enjoyed it very much! Here are 2 web page that I created to help people who has no knowledge for any programming language but would like to learn HTML and Javascript (click the links to go to the page).
I was a research assistant for collaborative research experience working closely with Dr. Vanessa Job, Dr. Beryl Hoffman, and Dr. Elsa Schaefer in 1999 for a math and science grant research project for UCSD.
This project was focusing on error-correcting codes from Finite Field Valued Wavlet Transforms. My duty was programming in C++ to develop a serial version of the software to test the error-correcting properties of the example codes and to design and Implement a client/server parallel algorithm for analyzing the codes.
I was very honored to join this grant reseach since the Math and Computer Science Department only selected two students to join this project.
a. I used to play piano for 10 years. However, I stopped playing after I moved to U.S.
Last year, I finally got myself the dream piano, a great German brand grand piano. Now, I started to practice it again and hope can have concert someday.

My aother specialty (it's more like hobby, not really a professional skill) is Chinese Calligraphy. I have been practicing for more than 10 years. However, due to my work, I was unable to practice often like I used to. Here are 2 of my Calligraphy practices. Enjoy them!
