Burning Ashes

Ashes remain
along with the pain
although they still glow
It will end I know



Ashes that once
burned new
with heat, fire
a beautiul hue.



Now only light
the smallest path
let it die
without it's wrath



Stir them for awhile
some glow remains
but die it must
not all in vain


A spark once ignited
a blazing flame
now ashes scatter
to the winds sweet refrain
