Look at these eyes filled
with tears
Look at this face that has
loved you for years
How can you from love
turn and walk away
Shared by a trusting heart
day after day
These hands that held yours
with tender care
Now reach out to you but
your no longer there
My heart has broken in two
the depth of sorrow
A never ending lonely ache
for lost tomorrows
Please tell me it's not true
love is never in vain
That this pain will wash away
with the cleansing rain
