Memories
By: SunRae 2001

Granules in a hourglass
time, life, slowly
slipping away.
Precious gifts of love.
Each granule we shared.
The granules cease to flow.
each remains as a pearl
of time. with a heart
print,engraved in each
piece of time.
pearls of time kept
only for me. you are
locked within the
hourglass of my
memories.

This is written for my sister Karen who lost her husband July 29, 2001.

Dave accomplished many things in his life, of which I know
only a small part. He was a championship skydiver, an
airline pilot, and one of the most fun loving people
I knew. He tried to get all of life he could into
each day he lived it. He will be missed and remembered
with love. Here is a picture I took when I was visiting
in March. Dave is reading the morning paper with
the brittany spaniel pup he had just brought home for Karen.
God go with you on the journey you now take Dave. I think now you
finally get to see what is beyond all those clouds you been
traveling thru.
