Winter Hideout
Ever see these modeling
websites and dogz in great show poses, but don't have the slightest idea
how to achieve that great show stopping model or show dog? Well, we got
the biscuit on every trick known to petz. We will start off with the modeling.
-
Get a carefree dog that sometimes doesn't seem
to show pose to well. If it's a goofy dog, the better. Models have to be
glamourous, so paint that pet every color of the rainbow!
-
If you are working for an agency, such as us,
they will probably tell you what kind of photos you want. For instance,
if it's spring, they will probably want a "springy" outfit!
-
Now, go into a room such as the clothes closet
or the toy closet. These places offer limited distractions. (hint: the
clothes closet works better for changes, etc.)
-
Next, dress your dog (catz) Try something tasteful,
neat, and clean for your agency if you are new at first. Once you get comfortable,
you can start with strange mixtures and very trendy pieces. Try a simple
hat with a cute t-shirt and matching socks. This is the kind of outfit
an agency with stop and think, "Wow! These people really know how to put
together a good outfit!"
-
Start snapping. Make your dog comfy. Give them
biscuits, treats, etc. Toss pillows around. Try a bubble machine. The best
pix for modeling are NOT stiff collar show poses. Instead, carefree poses
and dogz playing are much more acceptable and TONs more exciteing to look
at. Imagine if we modeled all the fashions in show poses. BORING!
-
If they are camera shy at first, don't give up.
Once they get to know what you want, they will start modeling not
posing. There is a difference, and it's like training your dog!
(If we say dog, we mean catz too!) I mean, training your dog to model is
a lot more interesting then watching it run after a flying disc.
-
Once you have two or three dogz that can model
pretty well, start looking for agencies. The best place to do this is petz.com.
There, you can search in their THOUSANDS of linkz. Just read the descriptions.
Or try here. We are currently searching for some catz models and wolvez.
Remember, modeling is a fun,
great sport to do with your petz and can earn them fame...plus it's pretty
easy!
