The group will be: Mrs. Irvin, Katherine, Mrs. Tatariw, Corianne, Tracy, Amy,
Alex, Mrs. Sullivan (and mother) and Lucy. The date we got was Sunday, January
12. Permission slips will be mailed out. New
York City Trip
The last payment is due to Mrs. Davis NOT LATER THAN January 3 but try to
get it to her before winter break so you don’t forget. Everyone owes $115.00
person (except the Bentley’s who owe $85.00). Full details of the trip will be
mailed to everyone in January. Thinking
Day 2003
Troop 1499 will be the “master of ceremonies” for the event. It will be
Saturday, February 22 from 9 -12 at Franklin Middle School. This is a “no
plan” event but I will have to have you commit to being there. Put it on your
calendars and I will keep you updated on the plans. Cookies
By now everyone should have signed their agreement and received their order
form. Remember these dates:
January 3 – sales begin
January 20 – order forms due to Mrs. Sullivan
Late Feburary – cookies arrive
March 21 – money due to Mrs. Sullivan GSUSA
Opportunity
We realize this is very short notice, but this is a wonderful opportunity we
would like to offer to as many Senior Girl Scouts (those who will be between the
ages of 15 and 17 as of January 2003) as possible. Please pass this along
to Senior Girl Scouts as quickly as possible. This is a time sensitive
opportunity for girls, so everyone's cooperation is needed.
Calling all Senior Girl Scouts, GSUSA is forming a National Advisory Committee
to interact directly with the GSUSA national staff and National Board.
Members of the Advisory Committee will:

GSCNC Opportunity ACT NOW
If you would like to serve on the GSCNC Board of Directors you can submit you
name for the position. The form is on page 32 - 33 of Kaleidoscope and must be
returned by DECEMBER 15. This is a
one year term and starting October 2003 and end June 2004. All applicants will
be interviewed by the Nominations Committee in January. Two girls are selected
each year. Sorry for the short notice but Mrs. Davis just received notification.
