Meeting Monday November 27

Mrs. Pressler is coming to do CHOCOLATE!!!!! For many of you this will bring you within one requirement of completing the Creative Cooking IP.

Next Meeting Monday, December 11

This will be a joint practice with the other troops who will be singing at the December 13 Ellipse sing. Everyone is welcome but girls singing on the 13th MUST attend. For review that is Amy, Tracy, Gina, Katherine, Lucy, Corianne, and Lauren. Remember girls, this can count for service (On the High Note IP, government for the Silver Trefoil, etc.)

Career Fair Thank You

The troop received a thank-you note from TOGA:

“Dear Girls and Adults of Troop 1499,

On behalf of TOGA I would like to thank you for the successful Career Fair that you planned and put on. I know it took a lot of hard work to coordinate everything amongst the troop. All comments that I heard were about how well organized it was and what a great selection of such a variety of speakers. You not only received the recognition of the Career Exploration Pin which is one step closer to your Gold Award projects but you also have the thanks of many Cadettes and their leaders. Again thank you for a great Career Fair.

       Mrs. Suzanne  Amsbaugh (TOGA Leader)”

Inauguration

No telling what the election did to the Inauguration planning but we got a letter that the troop is on the list to be placed. There are no guarantees we will be placed. The Official Uniform for the Inauguration (for scouts) is a specially designed windbreaker. We must order these December 20. The jackets are not returnable. They are thinly lined so order correctly (make sure it can go over some clothing layers. See the attached form and return as soon as possible. If I do not receive the form/money by December 19 I will assume you are no longer interested in participating. This is the ONLY chance to order and you must have the windbreaker to participate.

Lazy Susan Dinner Theater

The money is due at the November 27 meeting. Remember mother’s are welcome to accompany their scouts.

No TTG This Month

I thought this was a monthly magazine but looking at the last one it is dated Oct 2000 – Feb 2001.
