To capture the best likeness I like to paint the person life size or a little smaller. The size of the canvas will not affect the price of the portrait. Some props in the painting (a favorite chair, toy, small pet) can be included in the portrait at no extra charge. Very complicated backgrounds will be extra and are negotiable. Travel costs beyond 35 miles of my home near Williamsburg, Va. may apply. All other costs are included in the above chart.
