I was born in Durant, OK on March 30, 1964 at 7:10 am. We lived on the
outskirts of Dallas but we went back to OK just about every weekend. We
moved back to Bokchito in 1977. I was already heavy into the whole
rodeo thing. My Mom was friends with quite a few rodeo clowns and even
some soon to be country music stars. I began Little Briches rodeo,
Moved on to HSRA, then began learning to clown (that's what it was
called in those days) for Wing Rodeo Company and Kukelhan out of Bonham
TX. I met the woman that was to become my 1st wife. I was on the road
alot and she never liked my profession, so I guess when she got lonely,
She had an affair. I caught em in a big ol scene and went back to
Bokchito to lick my wounds. A short while later I decided to join the
Navy. Did just over 3 years there til I was given a medical discharge
for a hearing loss. Honerable, of coarse. Tryed a few different jobs
but I still had the road in my blood, so Back I went for another round.
I was drinking too much, but I dont think I was an Alcoholic yet. Met
the woman who was to become my 2nd wife in Denison, TX. She had 2 girls
and 2 boys. Instant Family... no need to add water. Gradually started
to break myself of my rodeo addiction so I could give 'em a more stable
home. We were together for about 8 years. She later decided to go back
to her first ex as some kind of sweeping gesture for her kids. She said
that she still loved me and wanted to be with me but she wanted me to
wait 6 more years so her kids would be out of school. She was my best
friend so I really was devastated and it didnt help matters that she
said there wasnt anything I did wrong nor was it any fault of mine. I
didnt have anything to blame my heartache on and it was more than I
could take. I began drinking large amounts of Bourbon and stayed pretty
drunk for about 3 years. I was drinking at least a gallon of whiskey a
day and doing all kinds of drugs. The Pain was gone but the Bourbon and
Drugs kept right on comin'. I was in a wreck and a few other
Earth-Shattering things happened, and I decided I needed some help.
Went to my Family and told 'em I needed 'em to check me into rehab.
Done my time there and Hit the world with renewed life. Been Sober for
3 years come June.
My sister, LeAndra, and I got a place together and a short while
later, she met Erik. He wanted her to Move to VA with him but she
refused cause she said it was too far from family. He convinced me to
come out here to at least see if I liked it. He was aware that I need a
change of scenery I suppose. Anyway, She told us she would go if I went
too. I agreed. Havent had much luck with the women cause I tend to be a
bit shy at first and I have this nasty little knack for making 'em look
at me as a brother.
There's alot more to the whole thing I call my life but we can save
the details for another day.
Hope this doesnt scare ya off.

Ronda his sister told his computer buddys in an email that On August 3,2001 Edgar was pulling his horse trailor down highway 82 near Bonham Texas, when he was hit head on by another truck. She told us that he put up a good fight but despite his efforts he passed on four days later at the Wilson and Jones Hospital in Sherman Texas. He also said that he was burried in the family cemetary in Bokchito Oklahoma...
The family is arranging a memorial fund in his name when I reciave details I will publish them here...
