Dawn breaks and the deer break cover
Looking for food and the cool taste of water
Nature's safety measures genetically engrained
Painting a picture eternally framed.
Would that all could walk so free
Cautious enough to avoid calamity
Yet open enough to open a door
Into which the love of another could freely pour.
Nature plays never with everchanging names
Nor ever thinks of playing games
And so are we too with Nature, bred
Speaking words of love, meaning what we said.
