Welcome to Company G
This site, Company G, is dedicated to three heroes in my life ... Gary Noe (my cousin), Gerry O'Dell and George O'Dell. All three served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.On these pages, you will get to know these three warriors and learn about their life during and after the War. For many soldiers, the war still rages at home. Many suffer from and relive their wartime events through Combat PTSD ... Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Please use the links below to learn more about this debilitating problem. It's so easy to find ourselves telling these men to simply "snap out of it!" By doing that, we are shooting our own wounded. They need love, they need help, they need US! We must not allow Viet Nam to continue claiming lives in the name of "mental illness". There's hope and there's healing, and the first step is in finding help. PLEASE get involved! PTSD sufferers were there when we needed them. Now it's our turn to fight for them! Their battle continues, but it's a war that CAN be won. Sincerely, Nancy Brossart
Left to Right: Gary, Gerry & George
who for love of country finished life's journey early; whose names are engraved not just on memorial walls but in our hearts. "In the prime of my life, must I go through the gates of death and be robbed of the rest of my years?" (Isaiah 38:10 NIV)
And also to my best friend, Liz, who fought the Battle of PTSD on the Homefront ... "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" (II Timothy 4:7).
