Sir Percival initially appeared as somewhat of a fool, but he later became a fearless knight. During the Grail Quest he failed to ask the Grail Question from the Grail King, but on a second chance he redeemed himself and with the Grail he healed Arthur, and became one of the Grail Knights.

Sir Kay was the foster brother of King Arthur. He eventualy became the King's seneschal. Kay was portrayed alternately as a braggart and a hero. He was known for giving new knights a hard time. Kay continued to serve by his foster brother's side until Arthur's death while besieging Lancelots's castle in France.
