Sister to Morgawse and half sister to King Arthur, Morgana was sent to a nunnery shortly after the death of her father Gorlois. She was considered to be Arthur's foremost enemy, alternating between trying to destroy Arthur and trying to ruin Queen Guenevere. Morgan was taught sorcery by Merlin the Enchanter. Later, she helped Morgawse bed with Arthur by using the same enchantment that Merlin had used on Uther to help him bed with Igraine. Mordred was the result of the incestuous union between Arthur and Morgawse. Despite the fact that she was Arthur's chief opponent, Morgana was among the three damsels that spirited Arthur to Avalon.
Morgana's Coat of Arms is derived from her father's, Gorlois;
Sable, three lions heads Gules, a fess Gules.
Urien, King of Northumbria, and husband to Morgan Le Fay, originlly opposed King Arthur at the start of his reign. He would quickly become Arthur's staunchest ally, despite the schemes of his wife Morgan. Urien stayed by Arthur's side
until his death at the hands of Mordred's forces on Salisbury field.
Urien's Coat of Arms is; Azure, a lion rampant, Argent.
