Mordred Pendragon was the illegitimate son of King Arthur and Morgawse. For the first two years at Arthur's Court, Mordred was portrayed as a good and honourable knight who was not aware of his full parentage. One day, while on his way to a tournament, Mordred comes upon a priest who tells him that he is the son of Arthur, and that he will be responsible for the downfall of the Round Table. After the incident, Mordred makes several attempts to bring down Arthur's fellowship of knights, and is responsible for exposing the love affair between Guenevere, and Lancelot. While Arthur is gone chasing after Lancelot, Mordred sets himself up as king. Arthur and his knights returned to do battle with Mordred one last time. Mordred was killed by his father's spear, after dealing a mortal blow to Arthur as well.
Mordred's Coat of Arms is;
Purpure a double-headed eagle Or and a chief Argent.
The son of Morgawse, Gawaine is the eldest brother of Gaheris, Gareth, and Agraviane, and the half brother of Mordred. Of all of Morgawse's children, Gawaine was the most loyal and favourite of King Arthur's knights, and a staunch supporter of not only Arthur, but also Lancelot, and Queen Guenevere. Gawaine forgave Lancelot for his sins until two of his brothers, Gareth and Gaheris, were killed when Lancelot rescued the Queen from her execution. Gawaine challenged Lancelot to single combat where he was defeated. Gawaine died from those wounds on the way back to Arthur's kingdom to fight Mordred. Before he died, Gawaine sent a letter to Lancelot asking him to return to help Arthur.
Gawiane's Coat of Arms is similar to all of his brothers; Purpure, a double headed eagle, Or.
