Do not forget those who have served!
Whether it is Memorial Day, Veterans Day or any day,
we all should thank those who have served in the Military.
Because of them, we have the right to live each day in a free country.
IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SOLDIER
It is the Soldier, not the Reporter,
Who has given us Freedom of the Press.
It is the Soldier, not the Poet,
Who has given us Freedom of Speech.
It is the Soldier, not the Campus Organizer,
Who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate.
It is the Soldier, not the Lawyer,
Who has given us the Freedom to Vote.
It is the Soldier,
Who salutes the Flag,
Who serves beneath the Flag,
Whose coffin is draped by the Flag,
Who gives the Protestor the Freedom to Burn the Flag!!!
I think this says it all to these protesters.
They will never understand though.
