Dishwasher Tips
- Cleaning:
- To clean a dishwasher, run a cup of vinegar through an entire
cycle once a month to reduce soap buildup on the inner mechanisms and on
glassware.
- Run your dishwasher through its cycle with baking soda instead
of soap to give it a good cleaning.
- Odor: Reduce odor build-up in your dishwasher by sprinkling some
soda on the bottom.
- Save Time & Money: Use a cheap brand of dishwasher powder and add a
few tablespoons of white vinegar in the dishwater to cut down on grease
and remove odor. Vinegar cuts grease wonderfully!
- Soap Film: Prevent soapy film on glassware by placing a cup of
white vinegar on the bottom rack of your dishwasher and run for 5
minutes, then run through the full cycle.
- Unloading Tips: When unloading dishes, empty the bottom rack first
to prevent dishes from getting wet from water dripping from the top
rack.
