What those "cowards" didn't understand is that AMERICA WILL SURVIVE.
We are a proud nation who will honor those who died and those who volunteered.
We will morn the loss of innocence to our children but we will survive.
We will take a stand against terrorism and we will survive.

The Greatest Bird

On a beautiful September morn,
in the land of the proud and free,
horrible birds of prey descended,
causing unprecedented melee.

Upon redwood trees they did sacrifice,
those who became captured prey,
causing the great trees to crumble,
quickly withering away.

As the trees fell suddenly to the ground,
much life contained within them ended,
nothing ever more profound.

And life below responded,
to the screams, the dire needs,
only to be ruined themselves,
like a garden wrought with weeds.

But above it all the sun still shined,
in the midst of the great blue sky,
where another bird much greater,
began to spread its wings and fly!

A journey neither started,
nor ending with that day,
but one that is always constant,
enduring in every way.

For the flight path is to freedom,
peace and harmony,
that can never be diverted by other birds that be.

He soars over every mountain,
prairie, plain and sea,
to ultimately protect and watch after,
the likes of you and me......

Who is this great bird,
so strong, capable and regal?
He is none other than the sum of us,
we all are part of the mighty Eagle

I AM THE FLAG OF THE
United States of America

I am the flag of the United States of America.
My name is Old Glory.
I fly atop the world's tallest buildings.
I stand watch in America's halls of justice.
I fly majestically over institutions of learning.
I stand guard with power in the world.
Look up and see me.

I stand for peace, honor, truth and justice.
I stand for freedom.
I am confident.
I am arrogant.
I am proud.

When I am flown with my fellow banners,
my head is a little higher,
my colors a little truer.

I bow to no one!
I am recognized all over the world.
I am worshiped - I am saluted.
I am loved - I am revered.
I am respected - and I am feared.
