Executive Airways
Operations

Introduction

This page is used to familiarise staff and pilots with how Executive Airways is run. This is to be used as a training document for trainees in any department, as it includes information concerning all facets of Executive Airways' infrastructure. Last updated Tuesday, October 7, 2003.

Airports/HUBs

Executive Airways operates out of Kingsford Smith Intl. in Sydney, Australia. We have HUBs in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne. Our routes take us to South East Asia over the South China Sea.

Pilot Registration

Executive takes pilot registrations any day of the week at any time. Once reviewed and cleared, pilots are added to the database. They are notified of clearance via e-mail, and can then start logging flight time immediately.

Pilot Rank Structure/Chain of Command

The pilot rank structure is as follows:

When your application is accepted you are placed on the registrar as a trainee. You can advance through the ranks by attaining a certain amount of flight time, which must be backed up by flight logbooks.

All questions, queries or problems should be forwarded to enquiries@execair.cjb.net.

Regulations/Rules

What follows are a series of rules which must be followed at all times. This is worth reading so you don't get kicked off the roster without knowing what you did :).

  • All pilot log entries must be backed up by MFS logbook files.
  • Honesty, reliability and integrity are key elements of being a member/associate of Executive Airways.
  • Always keep your e-mail account active as this is your prime source of correspondence for Executive. If your account is deleted, make sure you notify Executive of your new address.
  • The Executive Airways forum is for notification of special news for pilots, and friendly discussion between visitors of the Executive web site. There must strictly be no vulgarity, abuse or misuse of the message board of any kind.
  • As much as the VA industry is a fun one, you must pull your weight to keep it going. If you slack off on your flight time, there may be a demotion or discharge around the corner. Even if it means taking off, flying around for 5 minutes and landing, it still counts as flight time for Executive.
  • All flights counting towards flight time must be flown in Executive Airways aircraft (downloadable from the Fleet page.
  • Follow these simple rules and you'll be a valued member of Executive Airways for a long time yet.
