Rules
1. All
tournaments are team tournaments. Entry
fee of $65.00 per team.
2.
80% Payback,
100% payback on Big Fish Pot, separate from Entry Fee. 1 place paid
back per 5 boats. 10 boats = 2 places, 15 boats = 3 places, etc.
Big Fish pot of
$10.00 per team is optional.
3. Entry
fee to be paid during registration at tournament site. Ramp fees to be paid to
the Club during registration, with the exception of Kerr Reservoir where the
honor boxes are in effect.
4.
Registration time - 1 1/2 hour before
Blast Off. Check in times are listed (Weigh
In).
5. Boat
positioning determined by "The Luck Of The Draw".
Boat numbers drawn at registration are to be kept in team’s possession and
turned in at Weigh In in order for weight to count towards finishing positions.
Checking in late will result in DISQUALIFICATION.
6. 8 fish
limit per team. All fish must be 15" and over
on Lake Chesdin, 14" and over
on Kerr Reservoir and Lake Gaston, and 12"
and over on the Chickahominy,
James, and Nottoway Rivers. Any team attempting to weigh in more than 8 fish
will be disqualified.
No culling at weigh in. Any team weighing
in a "short" fish will
lose the weight of the short and lose the weight of
their largest fish. Artificial bait only, one rod per contestant in
use at a time. 50 yard distance from an anchored
tournament boat must be maintained. No fishing 50
yards from marina gas pumps.
7. Each
team is responsible for returning their catch to the water.
8. All
contestants must have personal flotation devices on while combustion engine is
in operation. Running lights must be in operation during low light conditions,
as determined by the Club. Fog Cover rules will apply when necessary.
Announcements pertaining to these issues will be held prior to
Blast Off. Neither LCBC, its advertisers, nor
Club member’s will be held liable in the event of negligent acts by any member
entered or participating in these tournaments.
9.
1/4 lb
penalty will be assessed to the team's total weight per dead fish weighed in.
10.
ANY TEAM INVOLVED IN UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT WILL
FORFEIT PRIZE MONEY, IF SO AWARDED, AND BE BANNED FROM FUTURE LCBC SPONSORED
EVENTS.
11.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED DURING REGISTRATION OR
TOURNAMENT HOURS.
12. The
Club has the right to refuse ANY
Entry Fee for ANY reason it deems
necessary.
13.
NO Full Time Guides are permitted to fish
these tournaments.
14. Any
protests must be made within 30 minutes
after weigh in has started and must be presented to a Club member in writing.
Determination of protests is at the discretion of the Club membership present.
Ties will be decided by the team’s largest fish.
If the largest fish is a tie, a coin flip
will be used as the tie breaker.
15. All
posted "NO WAKE" zones on the below
listed waters MUST BE ADHERED TO.
16.
Contestants may be submitted to a polygraph prior to receiving prize money.
Unwillingness to submit to such polygraph will be cause for disqualification,
forfeiture of prize money (if applicable), and banning from any future LCBC
sponsored events.
17. Any
violation of the above rules or applicable governing game and fish laws will
result in disqualification and banning from future LCBC sponsored events.
