After her injury, Ellie was turned out for several months, just to work out her muscles and learn to be a regular horse again.
In July of 2003, she was started in light work (longeing and ground driving) again. In April of 2004, I sat on her a few times, and in August of 2004 she went to trainer Susan Martin where she started under saddle work in September of 2004. She returned home in early November.
