WE DEMAND JUSTICE
BROTHER RATS:
Most of you all know what happened, the Rat who was worked out and the huge Charlie Foxtrot it evolved into. This is where we need to draw the line - treating female rats different than anybody else. I never see male, female, thing, it, alien, whatever - I see A RAT. That's the system.
Where is the justice in sending someone up and then they send someone up in return? There is none, it's not justice, that's malicious. The GC, as much as we think it is a place where we go and get screwed, is not necessarily that - you go up there and present your side of the story. Let THEM be the judge. If you're innocent, then you are. If not, you get what you deserve.
LET THE CORPS RUN ITSELF, let the people who are supposed to judge, JUDGE. Not run to the Commandant's office, nor let someone know who will go and do that, so a full-out investigation over something retarded gets launched. We all bitch about how the Corps has no power. THIS IS WHY! THIS IS WHY WE DON'T HAVE THE POWER PREVIOUS CLASSES DID.
I'm not for nor against any party in this case, what I'm for is equal opprotunity, equal training, equality in general - to all of the female cadets who think that I'm some sexist, I'm not. That female barracks thing I posted was for you all! That idea was from a female cadet.
Separate but equal - remember that? It sucked, and guess what, it's about to be reinstated here. The Emperor has decided that to give women an equal chance he will segregate them into separate barracks, possible all female companies, and give them a separate standard. The female cadets, from what I've heard, fought this and were told "NO". Also, from what I've heard, from talking to you all, you all want to be treated the same as everyone else. DOES THIS MAKE ANY FRIGGIN' SENSE? NO!
In response to the Washington Post article, I think that the people responsible for it are not necessarily at fault, but they DON'T know what this place is like, they don't see things the way cadets do. They see male and female, we see our BRs, we see friends, comrades, teammates, RATS. We don't see distinction, if we do then we're blind. If we let this happen we should fall and lose everything we've strived to work for.
Whatever happened is a result of interpretation. The cadets who spit on the article spit on it because it was an example of what the blind want us to see. THEY WANT US TO SEE TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE, we should just see ONE.
We need to realize what's going on here, are we BRs? Are we a united Corps? Or are we the blind.
If this pisses anyone off, GOOD. I hope it makes people think. WE NEED TO START THINKING.
