My baby Angel went to heaven today,
I don't know why he couldn't stay.
For I loved him so right from the start,
The first time I heard the beat of his little heart.
Each week and month as both of us grew,
I made special plans of what we would do.
Then when I looked down at his beautiful face,
I knew my Angel went to a heavenly place.
Yes, my Angel, my son, went to Heaven today,
Now in the stillness, I can hear him say
"Please, Mommy, don't cry and don't you be sad
For you are the BEST Mommy an Angel could have".
