This is exhaust will soon be replaced by TKT's full 3" mandrel bent pipe setup. It is a piece and weld together kit and includes new crossunders and a 3" flex pipe so I will be discarding what is left of my catalytic converter. Regular price for exhaust only is $300.
Running a pipe through my catalytic converter was probably the best thing I ever did for my exhaust system. Those things have been known to rob over 35hp on turbocharged engines. I first chunked the "honeycome" looking stuff out of it and then had a friend at my local muffler shop run a 2" pipe through it and flare the ends so it wouldn't come out. With this setup, anyone who might suspect me of not having a cat could simply look under my car and see it. I'm fortunate to live in an area where emissions checks are not required... yet. Do not do this if you live somewhere with strict emission laws! It cost me $5 to make this modification. The car is a little louder.
