Diaphoretic, antispasmodic, analgesic, antirheumatic, antimicrobial
Relieves coldness, wind, pain, spasms associated with coldness. It is used for the common cold or influenza when the symptoms include chills, headache, and body aches. It is also useful for rheumatic pains, especially when the pain seems to move from place to place. Also used for intestinal spasms and for the treatment of trembling hands and feet. Finally, it is effective for itching skin and allergic rashes.

3-9 grams
Safety:
This herb should not be used by those who are weak, those with anemia, or those with heat signs associated with yin deficiency.
