	12	M	vi	John Hopkins MCFADDEN was born 1838.
	13	F	vii	Margaret J. C. MCFADDEN was born 1842.
	14	M	viii	Franklin B. MCFADDEN was born 1846.

They had the following children:

	16	M	ii	Isaac Henry BOYS/BOYD was born 1863. He died 1882.
	17	M	iii	Jeremiah (Jerry) BOYS/BOYD was born 1868. He died 1903.
	18	M	iv	Cooney Rickets BOYS/BOYD was born 1870. He died 1951.
	19	M	v	Robert Lee BOYS/BOYD was born 1871. He died 1956.
	20	F	vi	Mary BOYS/BOYD was born 1873. She died 1960.
	21	F	vii	Martha BOYS/BOYD was born 1873. She died 1958. Martha and Mary Boys were twins.
	22	F	viii	Unnamed BOYS/BOYD was born 15 Jun 1875. She died 15 Jun 1875.
	23	M	ix	Elliott BOYS/BOYD was born 1876. He died 1877.
	24	M	x	Eller BOYS/BOYD was born 1878. He died 1946.
	25	M	xi	Bud Cowan BOYS/BOYD was born 1880. He died 1966.

6. David Patton BOYD (Jeremiah ) was born about 1844. He died 5 May 1902 and was buried in Boyd Cemetery. David Patton Boyd was in the Virginia 37th Infantry CSA and then later was in the Virginia 16th Calvary.  His brother Isaac was with him (see notes on Isaac). David was wounded at Gettysburg.

David married Margaret Martin ROBINSON, daughter of Samuel Paul ROBINSON III and Celia Mary PRICE, on 28 Nov 1865 in Russell County, VA. Margaret was born Apr 1839. She died 21 Dec 1900 and was buried in Boyd Cemetery. Margaret Martin Robinson Boyd is buried in the Boyd/Robinson Cemetery on Dry Branch in Russell County at the old home place.  The markers for her and David Patton have no writing on them.
