~CODE OF CONDUCT~

Welcome to The Shepherd's Den Community. As a community we must set concrete guidelines and rules pertaining to Posts and Chatroom Courtesy. . These guidelines and rules are to ensure that you, our members enjoy and feel comfortable within your community. Please read them carefully, any questions or comments may be directed to us by e-mail at TheShepherdsDen@groups.msn.com.

Comments or opinions expressed within a chatroom or on a message board are expressly those of an individual nature and in no way means that it is the opinion of the managers.

We strictly adhere to and abide with MSN Terms of Use and your participation signifies your agreement to comply likewise.

1. Do not proselytize or promote other religions or belief systems. Remember that The Shepherd's Den is a Christian community. Attempts to integrate any belief other than that of a Christian nature will cause you to be banned from the group.

2. Treat everyone with respect. If you disagree with someone's point of view, discuss ideas rather than attacking individuals or groups. Derogatory statements about Christian denominations, practices, or beliefs, and individually aimed insults or threats that cause any member to feel discomfort is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

3. Stay on-topic. Be sure that your discussion relates to the subject of the particular chat or message board in which you participate. If you wish to suggest a message board topic, you may do so by sending an e-mail to TheShepherdsDen@msn.groups.com

4. Watch your language. Profanity, obscenities, sexually explicit language, sexual innuendoes, vulgar or rude comments, and expressions of bigotry are out of place here, including attempts to "mask" such words by using initials, blanks, or asterisks will not be tolerated. This is a 'Christian Community' behave as such, otherwise You will be Banned !!!

5. Leave personal identities at the door. References to sexual identity, sexual preference, and religious affiliations other than Christian tend to cause division and intolerance, so we ask that discussions be kept free of such labels.

6. Do not harass a member. Do not remove another member's post or photo's.

7. Compose carefully-reasoned comments, do not scroll, and do not use oversize fonts, JavaScript or advanced HTML commands.

8. Guard your (and others') personal safety and privacy. Do not post anyone's full name, personal phone number or address in the chat room or on a message board. In addition, do not post private e-mail you have received .

9. Do not post copyrighted material, unless permission has been granted and a statement to such is posted with the article in question. Instead, post URLs to Web content or cite reference information (title, publisher, etc.). Anyone not adherring to this policy will have their post deleted by management staff.

10. Do not enter the chatroom or post on a message board if you are under the age of 13 years.

11.Treat Monitor's ( when or if one is present ) with respect. Members are expected to show respect toward monitor's and other members. Should there be a disagreement, the monitor's decision will be final. If you feel that a monitor or member has treated you unfairly, you may send an e-mail to TheShepherdsDen@groups.msn.com for assessment.

12. Please help. Report possible violations of these rules and guidelines immediately, including a copy of the offending post or chatroom message, to TheShepherdsDen@msn.com.

Any action by a member that restricts or inhibits other members from using and enjoying The community chatroom or message boards are prohibited. Posts that violate these rules and guidelines, may be removed without notice from message boards and members acting in violation may be banned from the community at the discretion of community managers.
