Hi, I figured that by testifying to other teens that i might feel less guilt about what i put God through and how i am thankful that I am alive this very day! So, when i was a little over one, my parents got divorced due to my dad abusing my mom and alcoholism. I was left with nothing but childhood scars. Since then I guess you could say that I majorly rebeled and ended up in jail, homes, and mental institutions due to what had happend between my parents and I. I found myself crying sometimes because i knew that I could always turn to God but I was afraid that I would fell him just like I thought I had done my parents. Then recently while in church a women came to me and newthe way I felt like I hope I am doing to some of the lost souls out there. I gave my life to God and since then I have found things out about myself that i had never knew before. So i just wanted to testify to the world how God helped me and how he can help you. Here is what I'm thanking God for:
From age 12 I battled with suicide. I tried everything to end my life but nothing worked. What I didn't know was that god was sparing my life for a reason. When I was 17 I found my self in a very depressed mood I would dream about how I would die, and so one night I decided to get it over with. I had everything planned out, from the letter to the way they would find me. Just before i went through with it a police car and a social services car pulled up. My sister and i were to be put in a foster home for 6 months. Well when we got there we meet the person we were going to live with and her 33 year old daughter(who had 2 kids of her own) and they invited us to come to church with them. At first I was unsure if i should but I didn't want to hurt there feelings so I went. well to make a long story short about the 2nd month i went to the church I got saved and instently my life changed I was smiling for the first time in years and sence then I was able to minister to other people through song. For the first time in my life i feel like I belong and I feel happy. I just want to thank god for everything he has done for me. without him I would be nothing.

i've actually put my testimony in here quite a few times, but i always like coming back and reading other people's testimonies. it's so nice to see that the Lord is working in all of our lives. i just wanted to say that the Lord has been so faithful and loving towards me and i thank him for all he has done!

Well I will first like to praise the lord for him being a part of my life. Reading your testimonies It made me fell so sad but gave me more strength to go on. I have been battle with depression for so long. Lately for last two weeks old bad thoughts were comming back to me. I grew up with my aunt. My mother could not take of me I am told and my father went away. So that left me with such a empty broken heart. My aunt was ok but so strict and her boyfriend was so awful to me and my older sister. He abuse physcially and emotionally so much. She proctected me so i thought. But God watched over me all the way. She gave up so much of her life for me and my family. So please pray for because she does not know the lord like me. Well I went through so much. I wanted to kill myself and I was always sad. So sad that I just wanted to hurt anyone that came into my life. I didnt do drug or things like that. But I hurt everyone with my words. I still fight that every day but i know the lord is the only one who can help us when things get tough. So teen keep trying and dont let anyone put you down for what you believe in. I can do all things with Christ who streghthens me. Sorry I messed up on the spelling.
