Class: Noisette Height: 6-20' Width: 4' Hardiness:zones 7+ Bred:Trouillard, 1842, France Description: Double, repeat flowering, yellow, fragrant. We bought this rose in the Fall of 1999 to replace an overgrown boxwood in the Front Garden in one of the planter wells. This provides a very sheltered spot for the rose, nestled against the concrete wall of the house. This rose has really taken its time growing but now really seems to be coming into its own and producing a good number of neat, yellow flowers. The light, slender foliage has been very disease resistant. The canes are thin and graceful and easy to train. This makes a great rose for training on the front of our house in a limited space because it has few thorns, blooms well, and has not overtaken the space. |
