Class: Moss Height: 3-5' Width: 4' Bred:Vibert, France, 1826 Description: Fragrant, deep pink, once bloomer, very double. The name of this rose comes from its fringed sepals which resemble a tri-corner hat. Comments: I purchased this rose as a grafted plant Spring 2000 and planted it inRose Bed Four in the fall of 2000. It is disease free in my organic garden and produced a nice spring flush its first real spring in the garden. The fringed sepals remind me of parsley. The foliage is a nice bright green and the plant remained good looking all year. It does not really set any hips in the fall and the whithered flowers are not very attractive so I have begun deadheading this rose after it blooms. | ||
