Description: Fragrant, light yellow, spring flowering, very double. Vigorous climber. Small, shiny foliage that droops. Hooked prickles.

Comments: I grew this rose from a cutting taken on our honeymoon in May of 1999. It is now about 15' tall, growing up a pole in Rose Bed Two.

It has been very disease resistant and shows a spectacular spring display. It throws out long very flexible canes which I tie up to the pole in the fall. The leaves are small and shiny and have been very clean. It is not incredibly thorny but the thorns it does have are viciously hooked. The birds really love nesting in it. The first season, we had two sets of bluebirds. This year we had bluebirds and the day I cleaned out the box another, smaller bird took possession of the box.

This rose is one of my favorites. If you know who it might be, PLEASE e-mail us!
