Mme Joseph Schwartz with a hint of pink in cool spring weather

Class: Tea
Height: 3' Width: 3'
Bred:Schwartz, 1880, France

Description: Double, repeat flowering, white, fragrant.

Comments: We planted this rose in Rose Bed One during the Fall of 1999. The flowers are nodding and white with a hint of pink in cool spring weather. The plant is a white sport of the beloved Duchesse de Brabant and has the same cupped, nodding flowers and graceful shrub habit with thin canes and long pointed leaves and few thorns.

It has been very disease resistant and is fragrant. In my opinion, it has not been as free flowering as Duchesse de Brabant and is little smaller. Mme. Joseph Schwartz closeup of blossom Mme. Joseph Schwartz
