Class: Alba Height: 5-12' Width: 5-8' Hardiness: zones 3-9 Bred:Plantier, 1835, France Description: Double, white, spring flowering, fragrant. Comments: This rose was planted in the Herb Garden during the Spring of 2001. It is a nicely shaped shrub, covered in white flowers already this spring. The flowers are heavy for the delicate stems and tend to nod down. Since the bush is still small, some of the flowers hang to the ground. The buds have a slight pinkish tint, but the flowers are perfectly white when opened. The bush has clean, light green foliage and lots of it. I am thinking more and more that this rose would be better suited to the Moon Garden because of its size and the white color. I have already moved it twice in the short time I've had it and it has been very accomodating. | ||
