Class: China Height: 3-4' Width: 4' Hardiness: to zone 6 Bred: Parson, China, 1789 Description: Moderately fragrant, silvery pink, repeat flowering, double. Comments: I rooted cuttings of this rose and Prosperity to commemarate our wedding in Spring 1999. It was planted in our previous garden then dug up and moved with us Spring 2000. In Spring 2001, it was planted in Rose Bed Eight. The spring flowers of this rose are distinctly better formed that those of the rest of the year. In fact, the only time I can detect a fragrance is in the spring. It blooms almost constantly, and here in zone 7, even gives us a few blooms in winter. It is always the first and last rose to bloom in my garden. | ||
