Class: Hybrid Tea Height: 4' Width: 3' Bred:Meilland, 1945, France Description: Double, repeat flowering, creamy yellow-pink, fragrant. Comments: I first planted this rose in our Front Garden during the Fall of 2000. It was one of those cheapy body-bagged roses and has always barely scrapped by but when it produced a flower, they were so lovely I never had the heart to replace it. In the summer of 2003, my husband talked me into buying a standard of it (pictured in photo). Boy, has it been a totally different rose! It has really been a blooming machine and the flowers are so huge and full and fragrant. So, the moral of the story is - don't waste your time and energy on those cheap roses with no roots - buy quality. |
