Description: Fragrant, violet, repeat flowering, double.

Comments: This rose was purchased own root in Spring 1999, planted in our previous garden, dug up the next spring and potted. In the fall of 2000 it was planted in Rose Bed Two. It put out a few blooms in the spring of 2001, but has not exactly grown by leaps and bounds or knocked my socks off this year.

The rose is a very unique, dark violette color and quite fragrant. The photo does not quite capure the color. I'm hoping it will put on a better show next year because I really love the mysterious looking blossoms.
