Class: Rambler Height: 10-20' Width: 12' Zone: 4+ Bred:Schmidt, 1909, Germany Description: Double, spring flowering, mauve, darkening to purple violet, green apple fragrance. Shade tolerant. This rose was given to me as gift by a gardening friend in the fall of 2001 and planted along the white rail fence in the South Lawn. In the spring of 2004, it really began to show off, producing an abundance of flowers in an array of colors from mauve, darkening to a greyish, purple violet, all with white centers around golden stamens. The foliage is light colored and leaves are pointed and long. It has few thorns and has been disease resistant. | ||
