~*~Swept Away~*~

The beach was quiet in the early dawn hours and the couple found a spot to sit. AJ spread a blanket for them to sit on before they got settled. Andi snuggled close to him chilled by the ocean breeze blowing in. He wrapped his arms around her as she sat between his legs and nuzzled her neck.

As they sat together, AJ told her all about the Backstreet Boys and how they came to be. She was impressed by their determination to make it and excited that she was going to get to be around to see the release of the next album.

"Have you always wanted to perform?"

"Yeah, in one way or another. I’ll have to show you my puppet routine later after breakfast."

"When can I hear you sing?"

"I’ve got a show Wednesday night if you want to go with me."

"Really? I’d love to. So, I’ll get to meet Nick and Brian that night too?"

"No, baby. Wednesday is a solo gig…my Johnny No Name stuff. I perform solo and the proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. I can get Howie to go with us so you’ll have someone to keep you company."

"I’d love to go, Alex."

"What about you? What do you wanna be when you grow up?"

Andi laughed, "Until about five years ago, I had no clue."

"What helped you decide?"

"My sister’s death."

"What happened?"

"She died from complications from Lupus…same as Howie’s sister. We talked about that last night. The nurses were so good to her and to my whole family. Eventually, I’d like to get into research but for now, I can make a difference helping others like the nurses did for us."

"Is that why you live with your brother-in-law and grandfather?"

"Sorta. Kayla died shortly after my nephew was born and Drew was lost. He adored my sister so Grandfather and I moved in to give him a hand with Steven."

"What about your parents?"

"They travel a lot. My grandfather basically raised me."

"You’re close to your grandfather?"

"Very, that’s why this whole thing with Seth is killing me. I don’t want to disappoint him."

"Is there a ‘but’ here?"

Leaning her head back to look up at him, she said, "From what I’ve seen, not very much."

AJ laughed, "You noticed."

"Uh huh…sure did," she sighed. Then getting serious, she said, "I know I’m going to disappoint him because I can not marry Seth. It’s all wrong."

"Will it help if I talk to him?"

"I don’t know. Some days I think he is okay with the new, modern ways and then there are other days, like yesterday, when he gets so furious that I don’t live by the ancient customs."

"No matter what happens, I’ll be there for you."

Andi ran her hands along his arms, "It feels like we’ve known each other all our lives. I feel so comfortable with you."

"I know the feeling," whispered AJ as he kissed her neck. "Tell me about the tat on your arm."

"It’s a tribal band."

"What about the one on your lower back?"

"It’s a sunrise. My Indian name, the one my Grandfather uses in ceremonies, translates to ‘Sunrise’."

"And that’s why you like sunrises so much?"

"Partially. Mostly because of the colors though, and it’s my grandfather’s favorite time of day."

"Any others?"

Andi pulled up her skirt to show him the band of roses around her ankle. "I also have one on my left breast, a dream catcher, and I was thinking about getting a wolf done on my shoulder blade. I definitely want one more though…after I’m married to the man I love."

"His name?"

"No, I’m not THAT stupid to get his name tattooed on me. He could die and what would I do then if I fell in love with someone else?"

"You wouldn’t fall in love with anyone else. You’d live out your life alone because you’re THAT devoted."

Andi looked over her shoulder at him. "Would you remarry?"

"Only if the sex is damn good," teased AJ.

"You are so bad," laughed Andi. "No, I want a band around my finger so when I can’t wear my wedding band, I’ll still have a band there."

"You’re as bad as me," teased AJ as he pulled his sleeves up to show her his tattoos. He told her where he was when he got them, why he got them, and what he planned to get in the future."

"You just have them on your arms?"

"All but one, my ‘69’ is on my stomach."

"Ummm, sounds like its in a good place."

"Wanna see it?" AJ wagged his eyebrows at her.

"Sure."

"You gotta show me the dream catcher," bargained AJ with a sexy grin.

"Gimme your shirt."

AJ unbuttoned his shirt, slipped it off, and handed it to Andi. Sitting back bare-chested, he watched with fascination as Andi put his shirt around herself and wiggled out of her tank top only to toss it with her bra to the side. She slipped her arms through the sleeves and buttoned most of the shirt.

Turning around to face him, she put her legs across his causing her skirt to ride up to mid-way her thighs. "Why a ‘69’?" she asked as she traced it with one slender finger.

"One of my favorite positions." AJ placed a hand on her thigh as he reached to push his shirt aside revealing the tattoo and her breast. His hand moved into the shirt and with one finger, began to trace the tattoo. "So beautiful," he whispered. He moved his hand further down to cup her breast, his thumb circling her nipple. He leaned to her placing a feathery kiss where his thumb had been just seconds before.

A soft moan escaped from her throat, as Andi became lost in AJ’s touch. It was unexpectedly tender and so powerful that it touched her soul. A flood of heat filled her panties. She wanted him pure and simple. There was no question, no doubt. This man sitting in front of her, touching her very soul was the man she wanted in every possible way.

"Tell me what you want, baby," he breathed into her ear as his other hand slipped under her skirt, his fingers brushing her ‘heat’ and his tongue running around the rim of her ear.

A barking dog brought them both crashing back to reality and they broke apart. Andi looked down at his fingers as he buttoned the shirt for her.

"You," she whispered as he finished the last button. She took his hands in hers and kissed his fingers.

"Me what?"

"I want you," she said looking into his eyes. "I want to feel our bodies pressed together, moving together, like we did on the dance floor. I want to make love with you."

AJ reached to brush her hair behind her ear. "I promise, my beautiful dream maker…we’ll make love, over and over. Now turn around so I can hold you."

"Want your shirt back?"

"I’ve got another one in the car. I like the way it looks on you."

Andi pulled it close to her taking a deep sniff. "It has your cologne on it…the same cologne you were wearing the other day."

AJ laughed, "I take it you like it."

"Uh huh," she answered him dreamily. "Tell me something you like."

As the sun started its slow climb into the morning sky, AJ said, "That’s a hard one."

Indignantly, "How hard can it be to find ONE thing you LIKE about a woman you want to make love to?"

"Very, because there’s so many things I like about you."

"One thing," she gasped as he kissed her neck. "One thing you like the most."

"The most…your temper."

"My temper?" she asked incredulously as she looked over her shoulder at him.

"Uh huh. I wanna be the one to tame it. I also like the image of you in my shirt and nothing else."

"I thought the image of us entwined in each other, all hot and sweaty, would be your favorite."

"Nah, cuz if you’re wearing just my shirt, it would mean one of two things…we’d just had hot sex or we’re about to have hot sex."

"Oh, okay."

AJ looked down at her as she turned back to the sunrise and smiled but he didn’t say a word. This woman, this beauty that he held in his arms right now had swept in like a hurricane and taken complete possession of his soul and there was no way in hell he was going to EVER let her go.
