~*~ ‘Til I Hold You Again ~*~
As the early morning light streamed through the open doors, the couple lay spooned together,. Andi had her arms wrapped around AJ from behind and she placed warm kisses along his shoulders. He held her hands in his enjoying the feel of her body.
"What do you have today?"
"Nothing until ten and then Tabitha and I are gonna spend the afternoon in the library. Are you gonna drop me off?"
"I can’t this morning but I can pick you up."
"That’s cool. I’ll call Tabbi."
Andi grew silent thinking about what the afternoon held for them. Her grandfather and brother-in-law were due back and when AJ took her home, she’d have to tell her grandfather that she was not going to marry Seth. It was her only chance to beat Seth.
"You’re thinking about your grandfather, aren’t you?" AJ rolled over and began to run his hand lightly over her body.
"Yeah. He’ll be home this afternoon."
AJ heard the anxiety in her voice. "It’s gonna be okay, Andi. We’ll tell him together."
"I know."
Andi put her head on his chest and closed her eyes. She loved the way AJ made her feel.
AJ watched her wishing he could make it easier for her with her grandfather. He understood her need to please him but he didn’t have any answers. His own grandparents had always been supportive of whatever he did no matter if they thought it was the right thing or not.
"I have to get going, baby."
Andi glanced at the clock. "What are you doing today?"
"A photo shoot and interviews for one of those teen magazines."
Running her finger down his chest, she whispered, "I wish you could stay here with me."
"Me too, baby, but I promise. I’ll be there at five to pick you up."
Andi looked up into his eyes. "I can’t wait."
