It is difficult to truly capture the mauve purple color of this rose in a photo. This rose is my favorite (out of about 50) new rose of 2006. Though the plant is small, each flower bunch is like its own bouquet and the plant never seems to be without a flower. So far, it has been disease free. I wish the rose had a more romantic name. I think that is the only thing holding it back from being more widely grown.
