Class: China Height: 4-6' Width: 5' Hardiness: Zones 7-10 Bred: found in Bermuda Description: Double, light pink, repeat flowering, fragrant. Comments: Obtained in April 2005 from Chamlbees and planted in the Parterre Garden. I like it so much I bought a second plant from Lowes (big box store, not Mike Lowe) in June and planted it on the other side of the knot in the Parterre Garden. Both plants of this rose have doubled in size in one season and have bloomed non-stop. The flowers are a sweet pale pink to white and in very cool weather have more prominent pink. It bloomed until hard frosts and even in January, the foliage still looks as fresh as summer. No sign of disease. This rose ranks as one of my favorite new roses for 2005 and is high on my list of recommended roses. This rose is thought by some to be Hume's Blush Tea Scented China, one of the four stud Chinas. | ||
