Fushigi Yuugi

Miaka and Yui were best friends trying to get into the same high school. But one day they find " The Book of the World of the Four Gods" and are sucked into the book. Yui becomes the priestess of Seiryuu and Miaka becomes the priestess of Suzaku. Becoming mortal enemies over a misunderstanding, both must aqure the seven guardians of their respective God in a race to summon one or the other to determine the fate of, not only the world in the book, but the lives in the real world too.
